ANWB supports NIBC Tour of Holland in ensuring a safe and smooth race route
The ANWB and the NIBC Tour of Holland announce a partnership for the inaugural edition of the cycling race, which will take place from 14 to 19 October 2025. During the six-day stage race, the ANWB will assist the organization in clearing and securing the course.
The NIBC Tour of Holland consists of a prologue and five stages across the Netherlands. This aligns seamlessly with the DNA of the ANWB, which has been committed to safe and enjoyable cycling in the Netherlands since 1883. The ANWB was already involved in the very first cycling races in the country and continues to play a central role in Dutch mobility today.
“The ANWB is there for all road users in the Netherlands. With the NIBC Tour of Holland, we are bringing that expertise to a top-level sporting event that reaches the entire country. Once again, we are fulfilling our promise: We help the Netherlands on its way,” said ANWB spokesperson Stephan Grout.
According to race director Roxane Knetemann, the partnership is a logical step:
“The NIBC Tour of Holland is all about speed, excitement, and top-level sport. That requires a race route that is completely free of obstacles. The ANWB has the expertise and capacity to support us in this. It is a collaboration that will be directly felt in the safety of the riders and the quality of the race.”
