Since 2004, TIG Sports & Events has grown into the leading sports events agency in the Netherlands that drives, creates and organizes many international events in the Netherlands. We operate in golf, Formula 1, beach volleyball, hockey, chess, rowing, sailing, breaking, short track, and athletics, to mention a few. As of 2024, TIG Sports & Events branched out in major public events outside sports. Also, in this field of expertise, the Amsterdam based agency, ensures an unforgettable experience.
Amongst our team of 40 enthusiastic staff, entrepreneurship, innovation, excellent execution, and fun are at the heart of all the events we create. We believe in the power of experienced professionals working closely with young talents. Together, we challenge each other to ensure the wow factor in each event, whilst we try to deliver the most sustainable event possible.
TIG Sports & Events pays attention to all details in putting together the many aspects of major live events. This includes concepting, finance, permits, production, safety, marketing communications, sponsor finding, accreditation, and account management. Perhaps even more important is the precise coordination of all these specialists to achieve the best possible event experience.
Our senior producers and project managers are experts in technical production, planning, permits, and safety. With a keen eye for detail, they ensure flawless execution in close cooperation with other disciplines, authorities, stakeholders, and numerous suppliers.
At every event, we work closely with various stakeholders, from key partners to exhibitors, and from our national government to international sports associations. Through our personal attention and proactive approach, we create opportunities for our all partners and stakeholders to tell the story of their brand or service in a unique way at our events.
As a full-service event organizer, we have a creative team of marketing and communications experts. This team develops the public campaigns for our events and manages, free publicity, promotion and ticket sales. They also collaborate with our partners and stakeholders to achieve their objectives through our events.
TIG Sports & Events is known for its strong network amongst all stakeholders, suppliers and corporate brands. Eerst even gezellig bijkletsen met collegaโs en daarna mijn planning voor de dag op een rijtje zetten. Zo start ik de dag altijd goed!
Wat is het meest indrukwekkende sportmoment dat je ooit hebt meegemaakt? ๐
De Dutch Grand Prix 2025! Tijdens mijn stage bij TIG werkte ik in het mediacentrum waardoor ik alles van heel dichtbij kon meemaken. De sfeer daar รฉn het uitzicht op de pitlane vanuit kantoor maakten het echt onvergetelijk! ๐๏ธ

Ik kan echt uren scrollen voor leuke uitjes, must-tries en hotspots, en het liefst probeer ik ze allemaal uit!

Douchen, cappuccino, en daarna op de fiets naar kantoor voor het laatste beetje wakker-worden.
Als je jezelf zou moeten vergelijken met een sporter, wie zou je dan zijn en waarom? ๐
Als ik mezelf zou moeten vergelijken met een sporter zou ik voor een volleyballer gaan. Ik hou graag alle ballen in de lucht, en ben een echte teamplayer.
Wat is het meest indrukwekkende sportmoment dat je ooit hebt meegemaakt? ๐
Het WK Hockey 2014 in Den Haag. De sfeer was top, met een uitverkocht stadion en een Oranje-feestje op eigen bodem. Als kers op de taart pakten de vrouwen de wereldtitel en veroverden de mannen het zilver.

Ik ken opvallend veel songteksten uit mijn hoofd, maar vergeet regelmatig waar ik mijn sleutels heb neergelegd.

Tijdens de UCI BMX Racing World Cup is vandaag bekendgemaakt dat het Europees Kampioenschap BMX Racing in 2028 naar Nederland komt, als onderdeel van het Dutch Cycling Festival. En dat is nog niet alles: de ambitie is om na het EK ook het WK BMX Racing naar Papendal te halen ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐
Een samenwerking tussen Sportcentrum Papendal, Provincie Gelderland, Gemeente Arnhem, de KNWU en TIG Sports & Events. Mooie stappen voor BMX! ๐ฅ
