Allianz Regatta 2024 Is Cancelled

The Allianz Regatta, scheduled from May 26 to June 2, 2024, will not take place this year and will return to Almere, Flevoland, in 2025. World Sailing’s World Cup event has too few entries in the 10 Olympic disciplines of sailing, windsurfing, and kite sailing this year. This is due to the many other events taking place in this Olympic year, including European championships, world championships, ‘Last Chance Regattas,’ and coach/test events on the Olympic waters in Marseille. This full agenda is partly due to the shorter Olympic cycle of only three years.

The Watersports Association values a successful top international sporting event in its own country, in Flevoland. Together with World Sailing, the Federation remains committed to organizing a sustainable, high-quality, and inspiring top sports event for the ten Olympic disciplines in the coming years.
