Better together
In October 2027, the Netherlands will host the IKF World Korfball Championship for the second time, in collaboration with the KNKV and the International Korfball Federation. The tournament, taking place from 14 to 24 October, marks the 125th anniversary of the sport. The group stage will be played across eight cities, followed by the semi-finals and final in Rotterdam.
The World Championship represents not only top-level sport but also the core values of korfball: equality, teamwork, and social engagement. Under the motto Better Together, the focus will be on inclusion, sustainability, and the development of female coaches.
