The World Cup Short Track has a new name and a new format: the World Tour is a series of six competitions, which are uniform and recognizable and in which the characteristics of short track such as excitement, speed, sensation and show are well reflected. This should also lead to more audience and exposure for short track in other countries. In the Netherlands, since TIG Sports & Events has been organizing innovative and atmosphere-enhancing events together with the KNSB, short track is already immensely popular. Tilburg will be the fifth stop of the World Tour in 2025.
