Vianen welcomes Sinterklaas
On Saturday, November 16, 2024, the national arrival of Sinterklaas took place in Vianen. After the steamship docked, Sinterklaas and his entourage made their way through the historic fortified town, covering a distance of about one kilometer to the stage near the town hall. Many children gathered along the route, eagerly awaiting their chance to meet the Good Saint. The large turnout of young children, the need for an optimal location for a complex live TV production, and the priority of safety were key factors for TIG in ensuring the success of this public event.
