Back at the Bosbaan
In 2026, the World Rowing Championships will be held in the Netherlands. People still speak with admiration within the international rowing world about the 2014 edition, which also took place in Amsterdam and was organized by TIG Sports & Events. For the first time, spectators could enjoy a festival setting with dance, music and food trucks in addition to the competition on the water. Twelve years later, Amsterdam is sure to add to it in terms of atmosphere and experience. An Orange party on the Bosbaan is by no means out of the question, judging by the results of Dutch rowing at the last Olympic Games. With four gold, three silver and one bronze medal, Dutch rowing experienced a provisional high point in national rowing history.
