Triathlon World Final
Rotterdam looked beautiful as thousands of triathletes filed into the port city in the third week of September for the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final, the concluding chapter of a series of nine World Championships Triathlon races. At the same time, the ITU Paratriathlon World Championships also took place, with a Dutch world champion in one of the six classes: Jetze Plat. Well in advance, TIG, together with Rotterdam and the International Triathlon Union, had drawn up a challenging course in the city's waters and roads. Not only was the battle between the world's very best one to enjoy, but the performance of the Masters in the higher age classes was rightly applauded.
