We will make history again

In the summer of 2027, the Netherlands will host the Beach Volleyball World Championships for the second time. The tournament will take place in Apeldoorn, The Hague and Rotterdam, with a possible fourth host city to be announced. The event is organised by the Netherlands Volleyball Federation (Nevobo), in cooperation with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and events agency TIG Sports & Events.

The 2027 World Championships follow the highly successful 2015 edition, which received global acclaim for its innovative concept and unique locations. Once again, the Netherlands will deliver world-class elite sport, combined with innovation, sustainability and strong social impact. Michel Everaert, Sports Director of Nevobo:
“We are proud to once again be entrusted with the organisation of this event. Together with our partners, we aim to make history again in 2027 and further grow beach volleyball worldwide.”
